Operational Excellence Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Workshop Recruitment.

This challenging role involves overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring seamless production operations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving TPM initiatives to optimize equipment availability and reduce downtime.
  • Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Coordinating training programs to enhance the skills of production staff.
  • Maintaining strict quality and safety standards, addressing any deviations promptly.
  • Liaising with R&D and project teams to ensure smooth collaboration.

Requirements:

  • BTEC HNC/ONC degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance and operations roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in improving processes.
