We are seeking an experienced butcher to run our butchery department as their own business. This exciting role allows you to work with customers, develop their business, and provide great service.

This opportunity gives you the flexibility to manage a butchery business without financial risk. We are looking for someone with good product knowledge of all meat proteins, who is self-motivated and wants to succeed.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain high standards in all areas, including stock management, food safety procedures, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.

Work alongside the Store Manager to develop a business plan that supports sales and profitability growth in your department.

Greet and speak to customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders, and offering helpful advice with a smile.

Order and manage stock, including stocktaking.

Effectively develop and manage a small team, including staff rota's.

Cut meat to order.

Clean and maintain tools and equipment.

Coordinate deliveries or order pickups.

Control waste.
