Job Title: Reservoir Engineer Apprentice

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Raw Water team as a Reservoir Engineer Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our raw water assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent performance by understanding how individual performance links into achieving team objectives.
  • Operation and maintenance of raw water assets, achieving financial targets for unit costs within regulatory compliance.
  • Maintenance and promotion of a safe working environment.
  • Compliance with statutory requirements, including Water Quality, Environment Agency, H&S, The Reservoirs Act, and Water Industries Act 1991.
  • Liaise with other bodies to resolve or implement issues, responding to external customer enquiries and complaints.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs grade A-C or 4-9, including English and mathematics.
  • Qualification at GCSE/level 2.
  • Full valid driving licence with no more than six points and own transport for the duration of the apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience of working in the outdoors and willingness to work in confined spaces.
  • Self-motivated, always willing to learn new skills, and take pride in everything you do.
