Our SEN provision school in Totton seeks a dedicated teaching assistant to join their team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers in ensuring all pupils can access their curriculum, settling the class into their tutor group, and working closely with teachers to ensure all pupils are supported in school.

We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, to work full-time or part-time as job shares can be available. You will have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.

The role includes:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Working closely with teachers to ensure all pupils are supported in school
  • 1:1, 2:1 and small group activities

Please note that this role requires strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
