Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Unit Manager in developing and maintaining clinical standards for the service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).Significant experience in an acute in-patient setting, including PICU.Completion of the Trust's Preceptorship Programme.Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of mental health care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
