Job Description

The Senior Marketing Executive - Digital will be responsible for driving and delivering the digital engagement and promotion strategy to customers, brokers, and retailers. This includes developing and owning performance marketing reporting, making data-driven recommendations, and implementing subsequent improvements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing skills, including knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and developing and owning performance marketing reporting. They will also have a genuine willingness to get involved in a collaborative working space and experience of writing copy and producing a broad range of marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the digital engagement and promotion strategy to customers, brokers, and retailers
  • Develop and own performance marketing reporting, making data-driven recommendations and implementing subsequent improvements
  • Generate ideas and engaging content for ongoing email, website, and social media activity, within Fin Prom and Consumer Duty requirements
  • Develop, implement, and manage the expansion of targeted email activity to support acquisition and retention objectives
  • Manage and undertake updates to existing product communications, marketing materials (both on and offline) and promotional activities, making recommendations for and developing new material as required
  • Lead on the design of customer-facing system outputs, and liaise with the admin services relationship manager to assist with implementation when appropriate
  • Become a marketing subject matter expert for savings, property, retail finance, and brand
  • Build a strong understanding of the behaviours and needs of the customers and distribution channels associated with each business unit
  • Monitor market and competitor activity, provide insight on activity and market trends, and make recommendations where appropriate
  • Identify and lead on activities which contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives
  • Manage third parties and agencies as required to deliver marketing activities
  • Work closely with and build strong relationships with other internal departments, and lead on initiatives as appropriate
  • Coordinate and oversee external events including roadshows, webinars, exhibitions, and event days, including all necessary communications and the provision of supporting marketing materials
  • Undertake and improve the provision of graphic design and video activities to support each business unit, managing overflow to third-party agencies as necessary
  • Lead the delivery of website content and functionality updates, and website-related projects
  • Support the Head of Marketing with other activities as required
