Paediatric Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic community team at Pulse Healthcare Ltd.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Nurse to work in a community setting, providing exceptional care to patients and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions to ensure patients' families or caregivers can safely administer medication.
  • Undertake clinical assessments to ensure patients are well enough to receive treatment, including completing observations such as oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and heart rate.
  • Provide ongoing support to patients through a combination of support programmes, including telephone, clinic-based, and home visits.
  • Report adverse drug events as per protocol.

Requirements:

  • RSCN or RN-C - NMC qualified.
  • Experience in a Paediatric Nurse setting, either in hospital or community environment.
  • Clinical skills required include clinical assessment, administering sub-cutaneous injections, and cannulation.
  • Strong understanding of therapies relevant to our service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
  • Close attention to detail and follows rules and protocols; quality-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A team player that builds strong relationships with others both within and outside the business.
  • Strong customer and patient focus.
  • Makes good use of available time, well-developed planning & organisational skills.
  • Adaptable to change; flexible enough to cope with changing service demands.
