Senior Electrical Engineer - High Voltage

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in high voltage systems to join our team in Orkney, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing process for wave and tidal energy devices, managing our testing facilities and equipment, and working closely with clients to solve electrical and technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing testing services for wave and tidal generating devices, including participating in technology design reviews.
  • Working with clients to solve problems of an electrical or technical nature and providing performance-related data and reports to assist with the design and operation of these devices.
  • Managing the operation of our electrical systems, working closely with Electrical Engineers and Contractors.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the High Voltage, renewables, oil & gas or a similar sector.
  • Degree educated in a technical or electrical/electronic discipline (HNC/HND would be considered).
  • Willing to relocate to Orkney, Scotland.
