This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a River Infrastructure Supervisor. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our waterway infrastructure, including the coordination of maintenance and repair works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising teams to deliver a programme of both planned and reactive works, maintaining both a high quality of output and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinating the work of the team through the management of materials and equipment, ensuring staff adhere to agreed method statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring the safety of customers and the availability of the network through the delivery of an adequately resourced first level of response for reactive works.
  • Participating in a 24/7 standby rota.
  • Maintaining diversity and inclusion within the workplace, promoting inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust's policies and values.

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • 25 days paid holiday, plus paid Bank Holidays, increasing to 27 days plus Bank Holidays after 3 years.
