About the Role

Pharaoh Capital is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defence Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Defence Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' IT infrastructures and information systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our clients' IT infrastructures and protect their information systems across their global IT estate.
  • Take ownership of and provide end-to-end solutions for incidents, including detection, triage, malware analysis, and remediation as required.
  • Work with colleagues outside the Security Operations Centre to provide feedback and support for reporting to the customer.
  • Gain experience in the range of security issues and attacks faced by global organisations, as well as the use of leading security tools across a large estate.
  • Support and deputise for the Head of IT Security Operations for day-to-day management of security tasks, provide security training and advice to team members, and identify, prioritise, and manage Security Incidents.
  • Understand the Vulnerability Management end-to-end process and reporting, with working experience of Vulnerability Management tools, and notify requirements to address security deficiencies and conduct security analysis and risk assessment.
  • Arrange and conduct Security Assurance Reviews and Assessments, work with third-party peer testers, and produce Assessment Reports to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Work closely together with technical architects to produce design specifications according to information security policies, while fulfilling business needs.
Requirements
  • Experience in security threats, compromise methods, Microsoft server and client technologies.
  • A working knowledge of common network technologies and defensive security tools.
  • Practical knowledge of defensive security tools such as Intrusion Detection/Protection systems, Endpoint security solutions, and Vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, team members, and other individuals within and outside the company.
