i3 is a specialist insurance provider seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Insurance/Financial Services industry and a strong understanding of associated risk management.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with skilled teams across the business, focusing on initiatives and opportunities using cloud technologies and modern security practices.

As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining standards, working with stakeholders to nurture a culture of security awareness, and providing day-to-day advice on security matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountability for creating and implementing security standards
  • Work with stakeholders to develop a security-aware culture
  • Creation of training materials and upskilling of staff in security matters
  • Provide day-to-day advice on security matters

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of circa £120,000 per annum plus benefits.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to influence others, and experience defining and implementing IT security policies within a financial services organisation.

You will also have knowledge of security in a cloud-hosted environment, especially using cloud-native technologies in Azure, and experience running security testing processes such as tabletop exercises and phishing campaigns.
