Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Axon team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping processes. Your expertise in logistics and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legal and company regulations.

Key Tasks
  • Utilize software to track, check, prioritize, and route orders.
  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
  • Verify orders picked to ensure quantities and items are correct.
  • Ensure all required documentation is properly affixed to shipments, such as packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Inspect label, barcodes, and other features of completed orders.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments for pick-up with FedEx or freight carriers as assigned.
  • Ensure that shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively.
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies, including Dangerous Goods experience.
  • Report to management on activities and issues.
  • Assess and recommend improvements for shipping processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Previous shipping experience.
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to lift 45 pounds.
  • Able to operate a forklift safely.
