About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant Trainee to join our team at Resourcery Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director in preparing financial reports, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements to identify trends, areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning processes, reconcile financial data, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional Qualification: Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
