Senior Azure Technical Consultant

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Technical Consultant to join our team at Deerfoot IT Resources Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to clients on the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Azure solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their infrastructure and technology requirements
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions
* Contribute to the development of proposals and solution designs
* Provide technical expertise during client meetings and calls
* Assist in estimating project scope, timelines, and resource requirements

**Infrastructure Assessment and Design**

* Evaluate client's existing IT infrastructure and cloud services
* Analyse data and diagnose issues to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks
* Design hybrid cloud, virtualisation, and other infrastructure solutions to meet client needs

**Implementation and Delivery**

* Collaborate with relevant teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects
* Contribute to the implementation and configuration of solutions such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and VMware
* Provide technical guidance and support during the rollout of new technologies
* Train client staff on the use of new systems, processes, and IT tools

**Ongoing Support and Optimisation**

* Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for complex infrastructure issues
* Maintain and optimise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
* Conduct regular system health checks and performance audits
* Update documentation and procedures as needed

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in an infrastructure IT or technology consulting role
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services
* Experience with VMware vSphere and other virtualisation technologies
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in pre-sales activities and client-facing roles
