Job Title: Stock Controller

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our warehouse team in Crewe. This permanent role is ideal for a Stock Controller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, ensuring stock is handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry on Excel to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Balance stock levels, including bulk items, to ensure effective stock control.
  • Complete daily stock reports and clerical work for the goods-in department.
  • Work with warehouse management systems to support efficient stock control.
  • Assist the night shift team with identifying and managing missing stock.
  • Process purchase order receipts and handle stock movements.
  • Perform general administrative duties, ensuring accurate stock control and minimizing errors.
  • Eliminate non-picks and support the reduction of items in the red area to improve overall stock accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Stock Controller, with a strong understanding of stock management processes.
  • Experience working in a logistics or warehouse environment with a focus on stock control.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask effectively, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
