About the Role

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in a leadership role.

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of £35K - £40K depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants, to ensure the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, directors, and external agencies, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care pathways to ensure best practice in occupational therapy.
  • Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff to ensure their continued growth and development.
  • Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements to support the development of future professionals.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Demonstrated evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
  • Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
