Mental Health Services Director

Priory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Services Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of our hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, with experience in managing budgets, leading teams, and driving business improvement. You will be responsible for setting strategic goals, developing and implementing plans, and monitoring progress to achieve these objectives. Additionally, you will oversee the management of clinical risk, ensuring that all necessary measures are in place to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Hospital Senior Management Team (SMT) to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Oversee the financial performance of the hospital, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business improvement and meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage clinical risk, ensuring that all necessary measures are in place to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with regional support functions, including Quality, Finance, Business Development, and HR, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
- Degree-level education or relevant health or social care professional registration.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing budgets and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in difficult circumstances.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and improving business outcomes.
Salary: £70,000 per annum.
