Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Tunstall Healthcare (UK) Ltd. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our customers in the Bristol/Swindon/Bath area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and electronic maintenance and repairs on a variety of products, including Warden Call Systems, Dispersed Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, Nurse Call, etc.
  • Work independently in a field-based role, requiring strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, including those who are elderly or vulnerable.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including on-call evening/weekend work.

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline (specifically Electrical or Electronic Engineering).
  • Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working, including mentoring/coaching and training others.
  • Effective time management & planning skills.
  • A flexible approach to work.
