**Responsibilities:**
As a Family Support Worker with Work With Vista, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising family contact sessions to ensure safe and appropriate environments for constructive interactions between family members.
- Providing one-on-one support sessions to offer practical and emotional guidance to children, young people, parents, and families.
- Assisting families in accessing community resources and support services, including respite support for families of children with challenging behaviours or special educational needs.
- Care and support for looked after children, in accordance with their care plans, and advocating for their needs and rights within the care system.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach. A valid driver's license and access to transportation are also preferred.
