We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Bank Team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Support all clinical areas of the Trust as and when required, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that Trust and local policies and procedures are known and followed, and that duties are carried out in accordance with established nursing procedures and policies.
- Be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Take responsibility for the supervision and guidance of other staff, including healthcare assistants and students, as required.
- Contribute to health promotion for all patients by providing education, support, and advice, as necessary.
- Ensure referral to appropriate professionals or agencies as required, and ensure the safe ordering, administration, and custody of patients' medication according to Trust policies and procedures.
- In the absence of senior staff, be responsible for delegation and supervision of appropriate work to other qualified staff, healthcare assistants, and students.
- Where relevant, be responsible for and assist in coordinating discharge planning in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
- Hold RN (Adult or Paediatric) registration with current NMC license to practice.
- Have relevant experience within the last 18-24 months, with a drive to work hard, enthusiasm, and the ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme if successful.
- Have the right to work in the UK (with relevant Adaptation/ONP if applicable) and the ability to commence work within 3 months from offer.
