About the Role:

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Engineer to join our project team on a new industrial and commercial scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale project with a budget of £200 million and a duration of 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the bulk earthworks and external works, including piling and structural contractors, drainage, and steel frame buildings with services and associated internal and external packages.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of civils and structural external packages, including piling, ground works, and structural steel frame.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and setting out for subcontract gangs on various buildings, car parks, and services.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Requirements:

  • Up-to-date CSCS certification.
  • Experience with robotic EDM and CAD on large steel frame buildings with Tier 1 main contractors' projects exceeding £15 million.
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor management and setting out for subcontract gangs.
  • Degree-qualified civil engineer from a main contractor background with a minimum of 5 years of experience on sites.
  • Previous experience on industrial or steel-framed projects with a value of over £5 million.
