Job Title: Site Manager - External Refurbishment Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at MCG Construction. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of external refurbishment projects, including rendering and roofing works. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site personnel, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct daily site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure site personnel are aware of their responsibilities and any potential hazards.
  • Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement site-specific quality control plans to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standards.
  • Manage and resolve any site-related issues or conflicts that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or equivalent role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, and SMSTS certification.
