Job Title: Residential Care Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Care Manager to join our team at careers4a - Jobboard. As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of skilled staff to provide high-quality care and support to young people with learning disabilities.
  2. Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of each young person.
  3. Ensure the home is a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
  4. Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  5. Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience of working in a residential children's setting.
  • Experience of managing a team and developing staff.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes and policies.
  • Ability to work on call and be flexible with working hours.
