Senior Church Buildings Manager

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Church Buildings Team at the Diocese of Bristol. This is a new and exciting role that plays a crucial part in delivering our Transforming Church. Together Strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team that provides support to our Parishes and the Diocesan Advisory Committee on project, faculty consents, and property management guidance. This role involves working with a diverse range of Church buildings, halls, and grounds, often facing significant repair liabilities or outdated layouts and facilities.
We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills, a background in the built environment or development projects, and a clear understanding of Church buildings and their purpose within the future-facing Church and community.
