About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Church Buildings Team at the Bristol Diocesan Board of Finance. This is a new and exciting opportunity to drive our Transforming Church. Together Strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team in supporting parishes and the Diocesan Advisory Committee with project, faculty consents, and property management guidance.
  • Work with diverse church buildings, halls, and grounds in rural, urban, modern, and historic settings, addressing repair liabilities and outdated facilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects that meet the needs of parishes and the wider community.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a built environment or development project background.
  • Clear understanding of church buildings and their purpose within the future-facing church and community.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
