Job Description

  • Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, payroll, billing, and sales ledger, while ensuring proper internal controls are in place and managing segregation of duties.
  • Financial Management: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing finance function and implement best-in-class practices, enhancing integration across systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Cash Flow and Forecasting: Integrate and consolidate monthly accounts and financial statements, cash flow, and forecasts for all UK entities.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure responsibility for all financial and UK tax compliance matters, maintaining a culture of compliance by demonstrating good judgment.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Lead ad-hoc projects as required by management, such as implementing a new ERP system together with the Group CFO.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant with a proven track record within a similar senior finance role.
  • Strong level of accounting competence, preferably from a high-volume FMCG environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working with stakeholders and operational staff.
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis skills, with proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and balance multiple objectives.
