Job Description

Service Care Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in Primary and Secondary Schools on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers and students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide general classroom support and one-on-one assistance to students of various ages and abilities.
  2. Work with children who require additional help, adapting to different learning environments.
  3. Collaborate with educators to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  4. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, utilizing strong behavior management skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting students in EYFS/KS1 to KS4.
  • Clear understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to apply it effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers and students.
  • Passion for supporting students' academic growth and well-being.
  • Desirable: experience working with children with SEN and ability to adapt to changing situations.
