Data Scientist for Preventative Healthcare

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Oxford/London, UK.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience, in a healthcare data science field (bioinformatics, data science, epidemiology, or applied statistics).
Job Description:
As a Data Scientist at Nightingale Health, you will work with large datasets to build models that predict people's future health risks and identify how to prevent common diseases. You will collaborate with other data scientists and software engineers in an agile environment to bring new discoveries into our products.
You will also develop new analysis ideas and techniques, take leadership in implementing them, demonstrate their efficacy, and promote them within our team and beyond.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with human healthcare cohort data in the past, including data acquisition, cleaning, modeling, and interpretation.
- Proven ability to write high-quality data science code in R, Python, or both.
- A strong understanding of preventative medicine and screening concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
