The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Specialist to join our team at KAEFER UK & Ireland. As a Scaffolding Specialist, you will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and altering scaffold structures as part of a team that supports multiple sites and projects across central Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, the public, and future users of the scaffold structure by adhering to relevant British and European Standards, NASC guidance, and statutory regulations.

• Install anchor ties and other specialist fixings according to the manufacturer's recommendations, testing and reporting in accordance with TG4.

• Conduct thorough inspections of basic scaffolds prior to handover.

• Travel to various sites, with some projects requiring overnight stays.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements, including SG4, relating to the erection and dismantling of simple scaffolds, as well as regulations governing scaffold inspections.

Essential Requirements:

• Familiarity with tube and fitting systems.

• Health and Safety training and certification.

• Minimum 2 years of scaffold experience.

• Part 1/Part 2 Scaffold training.

• NQV Level 2 Scaffolding certification.

• CISRS Basic Scaffolder card holder.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Training in Layher, Cuplock, Haki, or Plettac system scaffolding.
