About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team as an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medication reviews and possess excellent communication skills.

As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial role in assisting our GP surgery with medications reviews, providing expert advice on medication management, and supporting the wider team with medication-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens
  • Provide education and guidance on medication management to patients and caregivers
  • Support the development of treatment plans that align with patient needs and preferences

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist licensure and independent prescribing qualification
  • Proven experience in medication reviews and therapy management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 4-5 weekdays per week, starting ASAP, for a period of between 8 - 12 weeks, with a view to extend. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
