Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

Location: United States

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our team in the United States. As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise in electrical design, ensuring alignment with internal and external customer requirements and regulatory standards.

You will apply innovative thinking to deliver cost-effective design solutions that offer maximum value to our customers. You will manage workload and resources to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality output.

You will communicate effectively with team members, management, customers, and suppliers to keep them informed of project status. You will take an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and performance.

You will support Technical Sales, Innovations, and Applications teams in evaluating project proposals for technical viability. You will lead internal and external design review meetings as the Electrical Design Lead.

You will mentor and guide Electrical Designers to ensure the quality and timeliness of design outputs. You will contribute to the management of facilities and tools under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.

Foster strong partnerships with customers through exceptional service, trust, and flexibility.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Proven ability to interpret customer and regulatory requirements for accurate electrical designs.
  • Commercial awareness to maximise value for customers and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and compliance in industrial automation systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software packages, including EPlan and Autodesk Vault.
