Job Title: Psychology Graduate Specialist

Location: Tamworth

Contract: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 to 15:30)

Weekly Salary: £420 to £450

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate Specialist to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN) at an OFSTED 'Outstanding' specialist school in Tamworth. The school caters to students aged 11-19, all of whom have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and face learning challenges or delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and implementation of individualized education plans.
  • Lead small group sessions and provide 1:1 support for students requiring extra help.
  • Monitor student progress and offer feedback to teaching staff.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Experience with SEN, whether in schools, personal situations, the care sector, or through community engagement.
  • Passion for education and supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Current, clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Positive, adaptable, and versatile mindset.
  • Full, valid UK driving license.
