Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team in Stockton for a 9-month temporary assignment. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide senior-level business and financial management expertise to our Business Line operations and Finance leadership.

About the Role:

  • Manage the roll-up of management reporting and budgets/forecasts for the Business Line.
  • Drive working capital improvements and provide strategic financial guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified with relevant professional body.
  • Extensive years' relevant accounting/business experience.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment and business partnering.
  • Good Systems experience – preferably an ERP system, Oracle preferred.
  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint.

Key Skills:

  • Technical skills and experience to conduct and review various accounting tasks.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to lead teams and deliver results to deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills for management report writing.
  • Ability to train others and provide technical information and support.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a focus on bringing solutions to the table.
  • Customer focussed – internally and externally.
