Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Accountancy Elite. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert accounting services to our clients, ensuring their financial needs are met with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of statutory year-end accounts and SME financial statements for businesses with turnovers between £1 million and £10 million.
  • Familiarity and competence in the new FRS102 accounting standards.
  • High-level accounting standards, industry specifics, and their applications.
  • Experience in preparing CT600s, personal and partnership tax returns.
  • Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.
  • Production of quarterly or monthly management accounts for clients.
  • Production of analysis and reports in preparation for client meetings.
  • Tax computations and tax returns for Companies and Partnerships/Sole Traders.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, QBE will be considered.
  • Strong practice experience, preferably with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
