Production Support Coordinator with a Focus on Supply Chain Management

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Support Coordinator to join our team in Toomebridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Tile factory by coordinating the ordering of goods, managing receipts, and updating management on spending.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the ordering of consumables and raw materials for the Tile factory;
  • Manage the receipt and checking-in of goods, as well as administration of invoices and orders;
  • Act as a key point of contact between external companies and different departments within Northstone;
  • Provide administrative support in processing wages for weekly paid employees;
  • Assist in stock counts of stores;
  • Aid the Accounts and Health & Safety department in opening new accounts for companies/contractors;
  • Take minutes at meetings and distribute actions/next steps;
  • Update reporting software with daily information;
  • Support production information boards;
  • Conduct Health and Safety Inductions;
  • Perform general office duties including filing, updating, scanning, copying, email queries, and answering phones.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent IT skills, proficient in Excel;
  • Keen attention to detail and record keeping;
  • A good team player;
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
  • Able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and understand the importance of deadlines.
