About the RoleThe production database automation team is responsible for developing and supporting a growing number of innovative custom-built solutions. Core skills within the team include C#, Blazor, Ansible, Jenkins, Powershell, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Spanner.
Key Responsibilities- Drive projects from conception to execution, with a record of accomplishment of successful outcomes.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of software development, particularly C#.NET.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
- Ensure timely provision of agreed deliverables throughout the software development life cycle.
- Provide performance feedback and input into staff appraisals.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent leadership and organisational management skills.
- Excellent understanding of software development, in particular C#.NET.
- Good understanding of database technologies, in particular SQL Server.
