Your Role: A Vital Part of Our R&D Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Workshop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the design and development of cutting-edge medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure that our workshop facilities are equipped to meet the demands of both mechanical and electrical/electronic engineering projects.
- Maintain a meticulous inventory of equipment, ensuring proper storage, calibration, and functionality.
- Actively participate in hands-on prototype building and testing activities, working alongside development engineers.
- Identify and recommend new laboratory equipment to support the evolving needs of our product development pipeline, including rapid prototyping tools and advanced test and measurement instruments.
- Uphold the highest standards of occupational health and safety within the workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in a relevant field, coupled with proven experience working in a laboratory or R&D workshop setting. A familiarity with electrical/electronic test and development procedures is essential.
You should have practical knowledge and experience using a range of workshop/lab equipment, including soldering tools, power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, 3D printers, and hand tools.
