Pediatric Specialist Nurse Role

We are excited to offer a Band 6 Nurse position at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role:

  • The post holder will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality education and staff development opportunities for nurses, enabling them to acquire clinical and professional competencies.
  • They will collaborate with the senior Sister/Charge Nurses to maintain exceptional standards of quality care, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • The role involves facilitating high-quality education and staff development opportunities, as well as contributing to the delivery of high standards of quality care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Evidence of written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of teaching and assessing ability
  • Clinical competency in named clinical area/specialty
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Proven workload management of self and of others
  • Good analytical and clinical decision-making skills
  • Awareness of clinical governance process
