Salary and Benefits

As a Night Care Assistant at Bristol Care Homes, you can expect a competitive starting rate of £12.10 per hour, with 10% additional pay at weekends and 50% extra pay on Bank holidays. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a welcome bonus of £100, a profit share bonus scheme, and a rewards scheme.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Night Carer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. Key responsibilities include participating in nursing procedures, maintaining the residents' individual needs, and assisting with daily tasks such as serving meals and drinks.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment, is an advantage. We offer NVQ Health and Social Care level 2 training for other care staff, and a career pathway for carers to progress to qualified nursing roles over time.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for experienced Care Assistants as well as motivated and enthusiastic individuals looking to start a career in care. Although qualifications are not essential, a Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent would be an advantage. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
