Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one support to students, tailoring your approach to meet their unique mental health needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Offer immediate support and guidance to students during challenging situations, helping them navigate difficult emotions and develop resilience.
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on students' progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at home.
- Work closely with teachers and fellow support staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Experience working with children in a mental health or educational setting.
- Compassion and empathy for the well-being of children.
- Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
