Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ensuring that all kitchen areas are tidy and well-organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils
- Put away deliveries in compliance with HACCP policy
- Label food in accordance with HACCP and allergen policy
- Support chefs in basic food preparation
- Deep clean the kitchen as per the cleaning schedule or business demand
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage, but full training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
