Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To provide a safe and clean working kitchen environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Washing pots, pans, and machinery
- Putting deliveries away in compliance with HACCP policy
- Labelling food in compliance with HACCP and Allergen policy
- Supporting chefs in basic food preparation
- Deep cleaning as per the cleaning schedule/business demand
Requirements:
- Hard working and reliable
- Proactive and adaptable to prioritise key tasks
- Personable and approachable to members of the team
- Willing and able to work the shifts required to suit the needs of the business
- Willing to take on extra hours to cover holidays/staff shortages
- Well organised to conduct/manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Understanding of which chemicals are to be used for each task (full COSHH training will be given)
