At McLaren Racing, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in the world of motorsport. As our Senior Simulator Development Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our driver-in-the-loop (DIL) simulator technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in developing and delivering continuous improvement and major upgrade projects for our DIL simulator.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as universities and suppliers, to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Work closely with other teams in Vehicle Performance to deliver upgrade projects and ensure alignment with our overall strategy.
  • Develop and manage budgets for simulator hardware and software upgrades and maintenance, in collaboration with Finance and Senior Management.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and projects in a demanding environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DIL simulator hardware, software, and systems integration technology.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
