Job Overview

We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing Ltd.

About the Role

The Industrial Equipment Technician will be responsible for undertaking planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and delivering project work in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Undertake troubleshooting and provide Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and specialist machinery.
  • Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment & machinery.
  • Attend breakdowns, fault finding and undertake repairs.
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system - CMMS.
  • Troubleshoot & diagnose Siemens PLCs & other makes of programmable logic controllers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Electrical Engineering qualifications beyond just the 18th Edition, at NVQ/C&G Level 3 or higher.
  • Experience of working in a production, manufacturing / factory environment.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and experience of electrical motors and pneumatics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
