Job Title: Interim Part-Time Accountant

About the Role:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor and control budgets and expenditures, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure financial compliance and detect any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team on various projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Participate in financial meetings and contribute to financial strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of financial systems and procedures, with experience in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA highly desirable.
