Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Azure Platform Operations Sovereign team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving the operational model for the Sovereign cloud, working closely with stakeholders and Azure Global Leadership to deliver these clouds and interface with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and support Incident management workflows across cloud boundaries without compromising security or efficiency.
  • Provide Knowledge Management, Operations training, and leadership.
  • Develop solutions to provide clear and concise monitoring and system management.
  • Lead on cloud excellence, driving alignment across all Sovereign Clouds to ensure continuing compliance and driving down operational costs.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of the challenges of system and service management.
  • Multiple years of hands-on experience in providing operations support to complex IT environments.
  • Large distributed IT environments in an operational role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience of service support.
  • Expertise in problem solving and analysing distributed systems and critical production service environments.
  • ITIL certification V3 or above.
  • Experience in DevOps lifecycle.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
