Overview

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Azure Platform Operations Sovereign team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of Azure cloud services and shaping the operational framework for sovereign clouds.

Responsibilities
  • Design and support incident management workflows across cloud boundaries, ensuring security and efficiency.
  • Provide knowledge management, operations training, and leadership to drive continuous service improvement.
  • Lead on cloud excellence, driving alignment across all sovereign clouds to ensure compliance and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for multiple feature areas.
  • Manage the governance of programs and processes to ensure specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of system and service management challenges.
  • Multiple years of hands-on experience in providing operations support to complex IT environments.
  • Large distributed IT environments in an operational role.
  • ITIL certification V3 or above.
  • Experience in DevOps lifecycle, PMP / Agile PM certification, or experience working in an agile project team.
  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or any other Cloud Certification.
