Tax Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Solihull. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the VAT provision, overseeing and motivating a small team, and working closely with a varied client portfolio to ensure client VAT expectations and deadlines are being met.

- Work closely with a varied client portfolio, ensuring client VAT expectations and deadlines are being met.
- Lead client liaison on all matters of VAT, including regular meetings and building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
- Manage workflow for the team, including VAT registrations, planning, compliance, and regulations.
- Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.
- Maintain professional knowledge in line with changes to VAT legislation.
- Advise clients on all matters of VAT.
- Departmental billing.
- Confidently network and scope for potential growth of the VAT department.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing supportive mentorship.
- Work closely with senior team members, providing support as needed.
- Set an example to the team as a natural leader.
