Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Specialist to join their team in South Birmingham. As a leading independent firm, they offer a supportive and well-structured environment for tax professionals to grow and develop their careers.

Your new role
As a Personal Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, including HNWIs and trusts. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality tax services and develop new tax opportunities within the practice.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare complex tax returns and review the work of junior team members
- Support clients with tax planning work and develop advisory services
- Manage the private client tax processes within the firm
- Develop and implement tax strategies to meet client needs

Requirements
- Excellent personal tax experience, ideally with knowledge of trusts
- Relevant accountancy and/or tax qualifications (ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ ACCA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
