About Our Client

We are currently seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, providing advice and support in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Maintain effective customer relationships by delivering proactive and timely advice to support management decisions.
  • Manage a professional caseload, organising and prioritising work efficiently.
  • Provide professional advice across multiple sets of terms and conditions of employment and pay scales.
  • Advise and guide managers in the implementation of various organisational policies.
  • Log and record casework outcomes for future evaluation and improvement.
  • Support and contribute to the shaping and improvement of the HR/OD Service.
  • Attend hearings and provide advice and support to managers or school governors.
  • Assist in preparing for Employment Tribunal cases and appeals.
  • Attend meetings to advise on HR matters and contribute to effective team working.
Essential Requirements
  • A solid background in HR advisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to provide professional advice across various employment scenarios.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing a caseload and delivering high-quality advice and support.
Desirable Skills
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within the public sector or education sector.
Technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HR software and databases.
